Hi there, it's me, that girl katie, I grew up with my family sending off holiday cards and receiving them in bundles so it makes sense the tradition is very important to me and I am pretty confident that the apple won't fall far from the tree for my kids down the road.
I love brainstorming ideas all year and often change courses when a great picture happens unexpectedly as was the case this year. For me, it's a creative outlet while also keeping in touch with so many people.
I am really thankful for all cards I received this year. For me, I love seeing how families are growing and changing, the simple feeling of gratitude that I feel knowing we have so many wonderful people in our life & for a few weeks I run to the door like a kid to get the mail. I like to think that my love of holiday cards is like the thrill my kids have opening a new door to the advent calendar, pure enjoyment throughout most of the holiday season.
Holiday cards are hands down my favorite gifts I receive during the holiday. Of course, there are always a few that really stand out in the bunch.
So, thank you to all who took the time to send out holiday cards. I know they are a huge amount of effort during a crazy busy time of year but so appreciated in my house.
