OUTDOOR STRING LIGHTS

Hi guys, it's me, that girl katie, Ever since my Modern 40th Birthday Party - a year belated (which was featured on Style Me Living) I have been obsessed with tablescapes. And since it's summer I am drawn to outdoor tables with string lighting.

Here are a few that have caught my eye.

I even love the idea of wrapping a tree in lights!

I am currently in the process of hanging lights over our outdoor table. Like anything it takes time + patience. There is a lot of advice on how to conquer this process but I think it's different for every space pending on where your electrical outlet is located.

Stay tuned for all of my outdoor updates that I couldn't of completed without a lot of help. Even home maintenance takes a village!

40th BIRTHDAY - A YEAR BELATED 5.14.15

Hi guys, it's me, that girl katie, I finally celebrated my 40th birthday - A Year Belated this past March. I had so much fun designing and hosting it that I decided to submit the party to Style Me Living and this week they featured it. GLOW IN THE DARK HOLIDAY PARTY HATS 10.23.14

Hi guys, it's me, that girl katie,

The 2014 Holidays are just around the corner and I designed a hat using my Cricut Explore to help make my holidays GLOW BRIGHT!

My husband and I host an annual Caroling Party and I thought these would make a fun addition to the party. And who doesn't love things that glow in the dark?

KICK UP YOUR HEELS for DINNER AL FRESCO 10.16.14

Hi guys, it’s me, that girl katie I love traditions and Dinner Al Fresco has become a favorite of mine.

This year we hosted Dinner Al Fresco with our amazing friends Hunter and Molly who own the restaurant, E.Leaven.

Summers tend to fly by everywhere but even more so here in Jackson because of the short summer season due to mountain living. So we are making it an annual tradition to end the summer season enjoying good friends, great food, yummy drinks and of course the beautiful Tetons.

Having 4 of us to divide up the work was perfect because we were all able to really enjoy the evening. Hunter, Molly & Matt took care of the menu while I took care of all the décor elements + my homemade ice cream.

It was a perfect night and we definitely KICKED UP our HEELS.
